Beverly Johnson beauty for the model-bride in you

I recently had the privilege of attending a breakfast that was celebrating the launch of the Beverly Johnson bath and body products. As I got my coffee and settled in my seat I heard just behind me “Good Morning and Welcome” as I saw the hand extended to me belonged to the amazingly glamorous Beverly Johnson herself.

Actress, model & businesswoman, Beverly Johnson, made history as the first African-American woman to grace the cover of American Vogue in 1974.  As a super-model, she has graced the cover of over 500 magazines and counting and often regarded as one of the models that paved the way for models like Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell.  What you should know is Ms. Johnson is as passionate about her business and new TV show (Beverly’s Full House – on the OWN: Oprah’s Network) her family as she is about being a positive role model for female entrepreneurs.

Her bath and body line is a luxury brand with names like “Top Model (a moisturizing Shampoo), Work It (a softening conditioning treatment) and Sashay Ends Crème (which prevents hair breakage) among others. Her body wash contains Argan oil and Shea butter that not only cleans your skin but leaves you super soft. The body cream includes Argan oil, Shea butter and vitamins A and D that help hydrate dull dry skin.  It will truly leave you smelling good and completely soft all over.

Ms. Johnson shared that we’ll be seeing a lot more of her and her products in the future.  I’m sure what ever she decides will be super model worthy.  For more information and to find her products, go to www.beverlyjohnson.com
