Hair Trends from Michael Duenas of Hair Room Service

It’s just about that time – wedding season is just weeks away and I know you’re wondering… “What are you going to do with your hair?”  Yes, if no one told you, your hair style has to last just as long as you do for your wedding.  This means that you could choose several women in the spotlight.  Duchess Kate Middleton she didn’t change her very natural look for her wedding. She didn’t want William to see anyone ‘else’ but her.  But what if you don’t have those locks?  Michael Duenas  of Hair Room Service suggests “Two Words, Classic Glamour.  All these styles exhumed a classic feel, with all the glamour of Audrey Hepburn and the greats.”

If you want to have your hair off your face go with a:

Bold BunBold Buns - Elegant at any size

“All the buns have one thing in common, they all began their lives as ponytails.  To achieve Emma Stones twisted bun: Simply gather the hair into a tight ponytail with a deep side parting.  Smooth with OSiS Magic or Schwarzkopf Professional BC Oil Miracle Finishing Treatment to get copious amounts of shine.  Separate the ponytail into five different sections.  Taking one section at a time, wrap loosely around the base of the ponytail and pin.  Taking your next section, weave in and out and around your first section.  Proceed in this way until all sections are weaved throughout each other and pinned securely to the head.  Finish the bun off with shine spray and hairspray.”

If you have loose curls and/or want to show off a BOLD earring, then try:

SIDE-SWEPT HAIRSide-Swept Hair - Simple and elegant

“The deep side parting with hair on one shoulder is a look anyone can do.  Apply OSiS Body Me and blow out your hair with as much curl and or body as you choose.  Once done set the style with OSiS Elastic hair spray.  Decide what side of your head you would like your hair to cascade down.  Bring all the hair over to the side and place either in front or behind your shoulder. Gather the hair at your nape and twist it under (if you do not want to see the hair that is secured to your head) or over (if you want to see the twist) and pin with hairpins. Finish with a bit more spray.”

Personally I think your groom should see you – just you for the first time. Forget the extensions and hairstyles that won’t hold up to hours of dancing. Do you and you will look beautiful.
