For 2011, Rosa Clará is presenting two great lines: one inspired by the start of the 20th century, in art nouveau. Gems of dresses with spectacular jeweled stones, combined with extremely simple dresses created from extremely lightweight fabrics, such as silk voile.
Moreover, volume has held a significant role, researching fabrics to create gowns with voluminous, yet sheer, skirts, which are combined with fitted bodies cinched at the waist and inspired by draper’s corsets.
In her first catwalk show, Rosa Clará was a pioneer in presenting the subtle blending of black and white on brides. On her fifteenth anniversary, she returns to this blend and emphasizes it more, presenting black and white as opposing colours that, in combination, are absolutely elegant and will become part of the brand’s prestigious history.
