Douglas Hannant 2011 Fall bridal couture collection is divine

Always classic tailoring and an eye for fashionable flare, the 2011 collection by Douglas Hannant featured 10 dramatically stunning options.  What makes this collection a treat is that he has bumped up the romantic lines, ruffles and roses into more modern designs that are breathtaking.  Blush, floral embellishments, the most cathedral worthy 12-foot long train simply blew me away.  While this looked like it weighed a ton, Douglas took the ‘day’ in mind and chose a fabric that is in fact lightweight and literally floats down the aisle.

While these dresses are not inexpensive, I can honestly say that they are worth every penny.  These are the kinds of dresses that a bridal statement is made. The use of horsehair trim, feathers pearled embroidery or silk wool were genius.
