EXCLUSIVE: A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz recreates the royal wedding gowns for your royal wedding day

I remember bets being taken as to how long it would take to have someone re-create the royal wedding attire.  Of course all bets were on the king of recreation, Allen Schwartz.  Mr. Schwartz is known as the Master of recreating the hottest Red Carpet dresses worn by of some of our favorite celebrities and designers.  What makes him so wonderful is that he makes them for a fraction of what they originally cost, so you save big bucks!! Imagine how THRILLED I was to have exclusive access to his launch at Lord & Taylor.

Lord & Taylor (when you think of it, has a ‘royal-ring to it, so it’s befitting that the Royal launch was here) is the first retailer to have and launch the royalty-inspired wedding dress collection from A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz at its Fifth Avenue flagship store. The dresses were created hours after the royal wedding on Friday, April 29th, 2011 and are inspired by the gowns worn by Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and her sister and Maid of Honor, Pippa Middleton. Limited quantities of the dresses were produced and if you were thinking that you wanted the “exact” dress, now is your opportunity.   Considering that

The Duchess: Kate’s Morning Church Gown $1,100.00

The Reception:Kate’s Reception Dress $450.00

The Maid of Honor: Pippa’s Dress $390.00
