The “Retrospective” collection launched by La Boheme at the Madrid bridal catwalk ushered in silhouettes in black and metallic grey, splashed with notes of color and bright orange linings.
A variety of volume, shape and neckline enhanced mermaid silhouettes, embroidery, bare backs and shoulders. The garments combine the formal with the informal, where more classical necklines, and with necklaces and belts with an ethnic feel, with small beads made from natural stone.
Carefully made materials like hammered brass and metal trim offered a compact but gentle image in garments that use satin, silk mikado, alpaca silver, marabou feather appliqué and Swarovski crystal at the neck.
The three-dimensional volumes used at the back, with pleats that start at the train and open into fan-shaped waves with every step, deserve a special mention.
